P&R Alarms can design and install fully wireless security systems or hybrid security systems to protect your business or home.
We often install wireless alarm systems in old, period, timber framed or modernist designer properties, where installing a hard wired alarm system would be highly impractical and near-impossible.
What are the benefits of a wireless alarm system?
A wireless system is much faster to install than a hard-wired system. It’s also less intrusive as we don’t have to remove carpets or floorboards.
You can also use a wireless system to keep out-buildings, such as garages, sheds and stables safe and secure.
Our alarm systems feature two-way communication and run on a narrowband frequency, which reduces the likelihood of interference and means they will not interfere with your neighbours security system, even if they have the same one.
Will it work with my current system?
If there is already a hard wired security system in place, a hybrid system can be created. This is ideal for system upgrades or extensions to the property.
How reliable is a wireless alarm?
We fully test new equipment by installing it on our own premises before we’ll even think about using it on our customer’s properties.
When we are satisfied that the equipment works well without any problems or issues, which can take months to verify, we will add it to our list of approved products.
We can maintain and repair your security system and we also offer a 24 hour call out service in the unlikely event that anything goes wrong.
We are NSI NACOSS Gold Approved installers and our wirefree alarm systems comply with the latest European Standards, BS8243 and PD6662:2010 meeting the requirements of insurance companies and are suitable for Police Response under the NPCC (Nationial Police Chief Council) Policy.
