P&R Alarms started out in 1983 and for the past 35 years we have dedicated ourselves to security for business and domestic customers, with fire detection, intruder detection, access control systems and CCTV incorporated into our company vision for a full-service security supplier for the Midlands. We are based in Hallow near Droitwich Spa and serve Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire.

While some security firms might just install and maintain systems, we also design them; meaning we can tailor a security and environmental protection system for each customer that serves their exact needs, without compromising. We use the latest and best hardware to provide our customers with the best system money can buy, and we also provide training in regular checks and routine maintenance for our customers, alongside our comprehensive maintenance contracts which ensure your system is always working and protecting you. Insurers require proof of maintenance and upkeep in order to keep your policy active, so by using our services you not only get tip top protection but total peace of mind.

We can upgrade and augment an existing security system to add another feature or improve the coverage of your security and CCTV systems, without the upheaval of having an entirely new system fitted. We can also take over the maintenance and repair of older systems even if we did not install them, so if you are unhappy with aspects of your current security services supplier we can step in and save the day.

We hold NSI Gold Standard accreditation (formerly known as NACOSS Gold) and ensure our employees are screened and background checked to the highest standards. NSI approval means our staff and management team meet the standards they need to in terms of ethics and competence and that we have enough staff on call to cover our 24 hour call out service. Our monitoring centre staff also meets the criteria, so you can be sure your business is in the safest hands possible. We are regularly audited by the National Security Inspectorate (NSI), so we are always compliant, and so are you.

We have also been approved by the NPCC (National Police Chief Council) to issue Police URNs (Unique Reference Numbers) for systems with emergency service response. Police will only respond to alerts from systems which do have a URN and having this feature can help lower your insurance premiums compared to an unmonitored system.

If that wasn’t enough to shout about, we also hold ISO 9001:2015 UKAS Quality Assurance certification, which proves our dedication to quality across all areas of our business. We are always improving and refining our practises where we can, which also means we meet the requirements of the NSI Quality Schedule SSQS 101. Our in house Quality Management System sees our data and equipment reviewed by our MD regularly, to ensure we are meeting our targets and providing the best service we can for our customers. We also regularly review our response times, complaint resolution and maintenance activity, so we are never resting on our laurels.
